India's overall exports in May surged 24% to $62.21 billion

India’s overall exports (trade and Services include) In may 2022 are to be $62.21 billion, Point a Positive growth of 24.03% Over the may 2021.

 

This Data  released By The Commerce and industry Ministry On June 15/2022. Its showed That the Trade Exports in may 2022 is $38.9 billion with 20.55% of growth rate. In may 2021 It was $32.3 billion and $19.2 billion in 2020.

If we see data of 2019 before the pandemic it was $29.8 billion, compared with this year it is 23% of growth rate.

Merchandise exports grow

Cumulatively, Merchandise exports stood at$78.72 billion in the first 2- months of FY23( 2022- 23) as compared to the same period of FY22, witnessing a growth of24.8 percent.

 

Exports had begun rising at the end of FY21 after the lockdowns and restrictions ended, and has risen every month since.

sanctioned statistics show exports of engineering goods continued to dominate India's overall trade. Engineering exports touched$9.7 billion in May 2022, rising12.65 percent time- on- time over May 2021. Engineering exports generally make up a quarter of the total periodic import handbasket. Reused petroleum was the alternate- largest import order, seeing the biggest growth in May as exports rose by 60 percent to$8.5 billion, owing to advanced global crude oil painting prices. This was followed by$3.2 billion worth of gems and jewelry, which rose by8.6 percent.

 

All other major import parts similar as electronics, fabrics, and pharma also saw major growth over the rearmost month. Exporters say there has been a continued reanimation not only in the order reserving positions but also in the demand from across the globe.

Total value of Exports of non-petroleum  and non-gems in May 2022 are $27.2billion, With annual growth rate of 13.1%.

 

Services Trade

The estimated value of services export for May 2022 is $23.28 Billion, exhibiting a positive growth of 30.32 percent vis-a-vis May 2021 (USD 17.86 Billion).

The Nominal value of Exports of Services in may 2022 is $23.28 billion with positive growth rate of 30.32% compared with 2021which is $17.86 billion.
